Penn is a trial lawyer. The moment he takes a case, his trial preparation begins. Penn knows that most cases settle, but he also knows that the best resolutions occur when his opponents understand that he is prepared and ready to try the case.

Penn handles a full range of commercial lawsuits, with particular experience in the energy, financial services and real estate industries. He handles contract claims, investor and partnership disputes, contract termination issues, employment matters, and trade secret cases.

Penn graduated with honors from UT Law School and spent 20 years practicing at larger firms, including 10 years as a Partner at King & Spalding. Penn joined the firm in April 2016, realizing a dream that he and Andy have shared, to practice law together, since they were study partners at UT Law.
